Knitting for Olive Pure Silk

Knitting for Olive Pure Silk is a soft and luxurious silk yarn (100% bourette silk) that will make the most wonderful blouses and tops. The yarn has a beautiful shine and therefore it is also perfect for festive blouses. Pure Silk has the same weight (light fingering / fingering) as Knitting for Olive Merino and Cotton Merino, so you can easily use Pure Silk for many Knitting for Olive knitting patterns.

Knitting for Olive silk is Cruelty Free meaning the silk fibers are collected from cocoons after the chrysalises are allowed to mature into moths and escape. The silk worms are not killed in the process as they are in conventional silk production. Knitting for Olive yarn qualities are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 verified. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified products have been tested for harmful substances to protect your health.
