Malabrigo Rios is Worsted-weight merino wool yarn. Rios is super soft and great for next-to-the-skin wear. Malabrigo Rios is machine-washable (30-degree wool wash) so it is fantastic for frequently-worn garments, housewares, and children and baby clothes.

100% Merino wool, superwash
100g = n.192m (Worsted), 3.53 ounces = 210 yards
Needle size: 4US 6 – 8 or 4 – 5mm
Gauge: 18.0 to 22.0 sts = 4 inches

Malabrigo Rios is hand-dyed and the colors shown on photos are illustrated as reference, as mentioned above, they can differ on more or less of one tone. Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag.

Malabrigo Rios is beautiful hand-dyed Worsted merino wool yarn. The yarn has a tight twist and therefore is more resistant to wear and tear. Rios is is machine-washable, so it is also suitable for baby knitting and frequently-worn garments. Rios is also nice for colourwork knitting.
