Silent Hour socks are knitted using sport weight sock yarn The socks have a beautiful surface knit and are knitted cuff down on a long circular needle The guide contains two different instructions for the topcoat and the heel. Both charts and written instructions are provided. The guide also includes clear illustrations of how to make a model needle.

Measurements of the finished sock:
Foot circumference (both patterns)
18.5 (20; 21.5; 22.5; 24) cm / 7.25 (8; 8.5; 9; 9.5) inches, without stretching. Foot length adjustable.
Yarn: Approximately 240 – 420 meters / 350 yards or 80 – 140 g of sport weight sock yarn.. Samples are knit in @Laurelknits BFL Silky Sock (60% BFL, 20% Silk, 20% Nylon; 300 meters / 330 yards per 100g) in colorways Fields of Gold and Lilac.
Needles: 2.75mm / US 2 long circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
Density: Both patterns: 30 sts and 48 rnds = 10 cm / 4 inches worked over pattern.
