A braided hood is a beautiful and warm accessory that you can knit either in a round shape or in a tube. The curved hood also provides additional protection for the neck and warms the chest. The tube version protects the neck well. A braided hood is also a nice alternative to a scarf or collar. The braided hood pattern was designed by @Anjuknits.
The instructions use Knitting for Olive Double Soft Merino, which is no longer available. Instead, you can use Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino in the braided hood.
Size: One Size (Adult)
Density: 16s = 10 cm stockinette stitch
Needles: 5mm circular needles with 80cm cable
Yarn : Tube version: Two skeins of Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino and two skeins of Knitting for Olive silk mohair
Curved version : Three collect Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino and two collect Knitting for Olive silk mohair.
