The Sigulda beanie gets its name from the Latvian town located in the national park area, which is especially beautiful in autumn when the shades of crimson cover the hardwood forests on the hills. The beanie's pattern resembles Sigulda's varied terrain, from which the name derives. The children's beanie can be knitted with a folded edge, which keeps the wind better. The contrasting color of the edge is a nice and beautiful detail, for which you can also use coarse yarn. The beanie pattern is easy to knit and there are no crooked stitches.
