The beautiful Molly Dress is knitted top-down with a double strand of yarn, one strand of Tynn Peer Gynt and one strand of Tynn Silk Mohair held together.

Pattern description

The Sandnes Garn Molly Dress is started by casting on stitches for the back piece, which is knitted flat with short rows and increases for the shoulder shaping. Knitting of the back piece continues in stockinette stitch flat with increases for the armholes. Next, stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge of the back piece for the front pieces. The front pieces are first knitted separately in stockinette stitch flat, with increases for shaping the neckline. After this, the front pieces are joined, and knitting continues up to below the armholes. Then, the front and back pieces are joined to be knitted in the round, and knitting continues with even increases on both sides of the piece. The hem is finished with ribbing. The sleeves are knitted starting from the armholes, and the sleeve cap is shaped with short rows. Knitting of the sleeves continues in the round, and the cuffs are finished with ribbing.

Finally, the ribbed neckband is knitted, which is folded in half to the wrong side.

Wash the knitted dress before use and lay it flat to dry according to the dress measurements to achieve the correct fit.
