The Knitting for Olive Vanilla Dress is a beautiful lace knit dress, knitted seamlessly from top to bottom. The lace pattern is beautiful but surprisingly easy to knit following the chart provided in the pattern. The dress is started at the neckline with a provisional cast-on and an I-cord edge. A slit is also made in the neckline to facilitate dressing. The sleeves are knitted in the round, and the cuffs also feature an I-cord edge.
Size: 3-6 (6-9, 12, 18 months // 2, 4, 6 years)
Finished garment measurements:
- Chest circumference: 48 (48, 53, 53 // 59, 64, 69) cm
- Length from shoulder to hem: 26 (31, 36, 42 // 51, 58, 65) cm
- Sleeve length from armpit to cuff: 13 (14, 15, 16 // 18, 21, 25) cm
Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino or Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (2 (3, 3, 4 // 4, 5, 6) skeins)
Needles: 2.5mm circular needle, 3mm circular needle and double-pointed needles (or to match your gauge)
