Knitting for Olive's wonderful knitting pattern for a beanie and a collar, which give extra warmth in the cold of winter. Their pattern is inspired by the "eye patterns" of peacock tail feathers. Both the beanie and the collar are knitted from the bottom up, starting with rib. After the elastic, pattern knit is knitted according to the diagram and finally a folded collar is knitted to the collar.
The instructions have five different sizes for the beanie and collar, from toddler to adult.
Sizes : 1-2 (2-4, 4-6, 6-12) years // teen-adult; head circumference: 44-48 (47-51, 49-54, 52-56 // 55-59) cm Measurements of the finished sweater:
Cap circumference (without stretching): 43 (43, 43, 50 // 50) cm, Height 16 (18, 19, 20 // 21) cm
Circumference of the lower part of the collar: 86 (93, 100, 108 //115) cm, length from the folded collar to the bottom edge: 4 (15, 18, 21 // 26) cm Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino or CottonMerino or Pure Silk (250 m / per 50 gr (fingering); 2 (2, 3, 3 // 4) gathers Needles: 4 mm circular needles and double pointed needles (or depending on the craft) Density: 21s x 30k = 10 cm stockinette stitch with 4 mm needles
