Knitting for Olive - Children's Olive Cardigan (knitting instructions)

The children's Olive Cardigan is a children's own version of the popular adults' Olive Sweater. The model is available in six different sizes (for ages 1-8). The cardigan is knitted from two strands of Knitting for Olive's Soft Silk Mohair together with Knitting for Olive Merino, CottonMerino or Pure Silk. For the finished children's Olive Cardigan, you need 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins of Soft Silk Mohair and 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skeins of Merino, CottonMerino or Pure Silk.

Body circumference (VY): approx. 56 (62, 66, 74, 78, 86) cm

Length (from shoulder to hem) about 33 (36, 40, 42, 44, 48) cm

Sleeve length (from armpit to wrist) approx. 23 (25, 27, 29, 31, 33) cm

Yarn: Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk; 225 m / 25 gr (lace); 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) gathers + Knitting for Olive Merino or CottonMerino or Merino lots of Cashmere or Pure Silk (250 m / per 50 gr (fingering); 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) collect

Needles : 4 mm & 6 mm (4 mm & 7 mm, 4 mm & 6 mm, 5 mm & 7 mm, 5 mm & 6 mm, 5 mm & 7 mm) circular needles and double pointed needles (or depending on the craft)

Density : 18s x 22k (16s x 20k, 18s x 22k, 16s x 20k, 18s x 22k, 16s x 20k) = 10 cm pattern knit according to chart A (A, J, J, O, O) 6 (7, 6, 7, 6, 7) mm needles
