Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair is a lovely combination of the finest mohair (70%) and silk (30%), making it extremely soft and pleasant against the skin. The yarn is high-quality and ethically produced (Cruelty-Free) – silk fibers are collected from cocoons only after the larvae have developed into butterflies, meaning the larvae are not killed during the production process. The mohair in the yarn comes from Angora goats raised in South Africa. The yarn can be traced back to individual farms.

The quality of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair yarn is evident, for example, in that it doesn't break while knitting, and according to feedback from our customers, it doesn't itch (although itching is individual, so the most sensitive might find it itchy – it's worth trying). The knitted fabric becomes soft, smooth, and fluffy, but not "matted" in appearance.
