The True Love knit dress begins with a provisional cast-on, knitting the top part of the dress in the round from the bottom up. The armholes and V-neck are shaped with decreases. The tie straps are knitted as i-cord strings. Stitches are picked up from the provisional cast-on back onto the needles, and the bottom part of the dress is knitted from the top down, creating striking slits on both sides of the hem.
Sandnes Garn Line, a subtly shiny blend of cotton, linen, and viscose yarn, is chosen as the yarn. All DK-weight summer yarns with a yardage of 50g = 100-130m are suitable as substitute yarns. Your choice of material can influence the overall look of the knit dress.
