More detailed description of the Ivy Tee knitting pattern

The work begins by casting on stitches for the back piece. The back piece is knitted flat with short rows to shape the sloped shoulders and neckline.
Next, stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge of the back piece for the front pieces. The front pieces are first knitted separately with short rows to shape the sloped shoulders and with neckline increases, after which the front pieces are joined.
Then, stitches are picked up from the front and back pieces for the sleeve caps, which are knitted with short rows. The work is then joined into a round and knitting continues with raglan increases. Once all increases are made, the sleeve stitches are separated from the body, and the pieces are knitted separately.
Finally, the neckline ribbing is knitted, which is folded double to the wrong side.
