Zipper Sweater Light – Men's Sweater is knitted top-down. The collar is knitted in ribbing, folded, and sewn into place. Raglan increases are worked on the yoke. First, it is knitted flat on circular needles for the zipper placket, and then in the round. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round. Finally, a placket for the zipper is knitted from the provisional stitches to ensure a neat finish on the wrong side. The zipper is sewn between two fabric layers, either by hand or machine.

Instructions for choosing a size

The sweater has approximately 20 cm of positive ease, meaning its circumference should be 20 cm larger than your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 86–91 (91–96) 96–101 (101–107) 107–113 (113–119) 119–124 (124–132) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are provided on the first page of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to choose the correct size. Example: if your bust circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 103 cm, choose size L. The bust circumference of a size L sweater is 127 cm, which would give 24 cm of positive ease in this case.
