The Hanstholm Sweater is worked from the top down. The neckline is shaped with short rows after the ribbing, and raglan increases are made in the yoke.

Choosing the right size

The sweater has approximately 6–13 cm of positive ease, meaning its circumference should be 6–13 cm larger than your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 86–91 (91–96) 96–101 (101–107) 107–113 (113–119) 119–124 (124–132) cm. The finished garment measurements are provided on the first page of the pattern. Measure the intended wearer before you begin. For example: if your bust circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) is 103 cm, choose size L. The bust circumference of a size L sweater is 115 cm, which in this case would give you 12 cm of positive ease.
