The Lilaste hat is wonderfully soft and plush, designed by Anjuknits. The hat is designed for Knitting for Olive yarns, and with the same Finnish pattern, you can knit four different versions of the hat:
- Soft Silk Mohair version
- Merino and Soft Silk Mohair version
- Merino and CottonMerino versions
Size: Adult (head circumference 55-56 cm)
Yarn: Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair and/or Knitting for Olive Merino or Knitting for Olive CottonMerino
Needles: 4mm circular needles and double-pointed needles (or according to your gauge)
Gauge: 18 sts = 10 cm (in pattern stitch)
Yarn consumption: Consumption depends on the version you choose:
- For the Soft Silk Mohair version, you will need four skeins (100g) of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair.
- For the Merino - Soft Silk Mohair version, you will need three skeins (75g) of Soft Silk Mohair and one skein (50g) of Knitting for Olive Merino.
- For the Merino version, you will need three skeins (150g) of Knitting for Olive Merino.
- For the CottonMerino version, you will need three skeins (150g) of Knitting for Olive CottonMerino.
A great alternative to Knitting for Olive's Soft Silk Mohair is Krea Deluxe's Deluxe Silk Mohair, which comes in many beautiful colors!
