Jalovilla Sorja is a completely domestic, hand-dyed thin wool yarn of our native breeds. Sorja is single-stranded and has no reinforcement, so it is best suited for scarves and light sweaters. The yarns are dyed by hand in Rajamäki.
Jalovilla Sorja has not been superwashed or mothproofed. The threads may contain, for example, straw, lanolin and knots. The yarns are washed with a mild biodegradable wool detergent after dyeing. The finished sweater can be gently washed by hand at a temperature of 30-40 degrees.
