Ruinioin Mini socks are inspired by a species of fern that grows on a rock, called Tummaraunioinen.
Sizes: 18-19, 20-21, 22-23 (24-25, 26-27, 28-29) 30-31, 32-33, 34-35
Knitting density: 30 sx 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm plain knit
Yarn:
Fingering-strength merino wool sock yarn
As a recommendation, Hjertegarn Armonia sock yarn,
80% merino, 20% nylon, 400 m / 100 g
Yarn consumption:
25, 30, 30 (35, 35, 45) 50, 55, 60 g of recommended yarn or at least 100, 120, 120 (140, 140, 180) 200, 220, 240 m of other Fingering strong yarn
Techniques:
The socks are knitted from tip to shank with the Magic Loop technique. Stockinette stitch always consists of stockinette stitch and picked up stitches. On top, the Raunioiset pattern is knitted as a braid. The socks have a left-behind heel and a tape narrowing at the toe. Sokansuu is concluded as i-cord.
