Raunioinen Mini Nutu was inspired by a fern species called Tummaraunioinen. The bunt is knitted from top to bottom in garter stitch, the body back and forth and the sleeves in closed knit with a circular needle.

The surface pattern of the arch has fern-palms, under which the arch inserts remain hidden.
