Esikko Nuttu, knitting pattern in Finnish

Esikko Nuttu is a delicate, light baby cardigan for the little ones, whose bottom edge pattern is inspired by Esikko's flowers. The body part of the blanket is knitted from the bottom up, as a flat and smooth knit, from which the purl stitches come on top. The sleeves are knitted from a temporary start from top to bottom and in the round. At the back of the neck, there are shortened layers to improve the fit. The edges of the necks, button placket, cuffs and hem are finished with a band of raised loops as the work progresses. The flower pattern on the bottom edge is knitted with long stitches. SIZES: 0-2 (2-4) 6-9 (12-18) months, corresponding to sizes 50-56 (56-62) 68-74 (80-86) cm

KNITTING DENSITY: 28 stitches x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm stockinette stitch with 3 mm needles

Knitter's Sofa Heat Light Fingering (250 m / 50 g) or Knitting for Olive Merino (250 m / 50 g)

NEEDS: 70 (80) 90 (100) g of recommended yarn or 350 (400) 450 (500) m of other Light Fingering yarn
