Knitting for Olive Merino is light fingering / fingering-weight merino wool yarn. The yarn is very soft and contains no harmful chemicals, so you can knit lovely knits for babies and children. The wool used for the yarn comes from Patagonia and is produced mulesing-free. Wool can be traced back to the farm that produced it. The yarn is STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX® certified

Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair is a wonderful combination of the finest mohair (70%) and silk (30%), which makes it very soft and comfortable on the skin. The yarn is high quality and produced Cruelty Free meaning the silk fibers are collected from cocoons after the chrysalises are allowed to mature into moths and escape. The silk worms are not killed in the process as they are in conventional silk production. The mohair comes from goats in South Africa treated according to existing animal welfare rights. All Knitting for Olive yarns are traceable meaning that they know exactly what farms their yarns come from.

Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair is a high quality yarn. The surface of the knitwear will be soft, smooth and fluffy.

Soft Silk Mohair can be knitted on its own or combined with Knitting for Olive Merino or Heavy Merino, for example.
